Medosweet Donates Ice Cream to Cone with Cops Program

The Kent Police Department hosted 3 Cones With Cops events this summer! We would like to thank Medosweet Farms for donating the delicious ice cream. Community partnerships are very important to us and a lot of what we do wouldn’t be possible without partnerships like this!

For Cones with Cops, we choose apartment complexes throughout the city and officers scoop ice cream for all ages, even themselves. It is a great start to many conversations about what residents are seeing in their community and they are able to ask questions one on one with officers. The kids always love to ask officers about their uniforms, patrol cars and calls they have been on. This is our 2^nd year for Cones with Cops and we are looking forward to many more.
